Case Study: First Presbyterian Church of Stillwater, Minnesota

More than 25 years ago, First Presbyterian Church of Stillwater, Minnesota began the Alternative Gift Market (AGM) a Fair Trade event held the weekend before Thanksgiving. Now an arts and craft show, all products make a positive impact on the artisans and promote social and economic progress here and abroad.

Women’s Bean products have filled many Christmas Stockings and taught many young adults how to cook. Now as parents, they are sending their own graduates off with Women’s Bean bundles, carrying on a family tradition while empowering women who are striving for their own successful futures. What a win-win!
